No accounts. No personal data collected. Here's exactly what happens, in plain English.
Last updated: 15 July 2026
Duelinos has no accounts, no registration and no login. I don't collect your name, your email or any personal details, because I never ask for them. The site does rely on a few outside services to work and to show adverts, and those services do see technical information such as your IP address. The rest of this page explains that honestly.
Duelinos is a personal hobby project run by one individual based in Slovakia. For any privacy question, or to exercise your rights under the GDPR, write to mycatsnameisrose@gmail.com.
When you create a game, your browser generates a short random room code — something like x7k2p1 — which becomes part of the link you share. That code is not connected to you in any way. Anyone who has the link can enter that room, so only share it with the person you want to play with.
While a game is in progress, the moves and score are held temporarily in the server's memory so both players see the same board. When the game ends and both players leave, that data is gone. Games are not written to a database and no history of your matches is kept.
Duelinos stores one thing locally in your browser: your chosen language for the Tips & Tricks page. It never leaves your device and you can clear it any time by clearing your browser data. The site sets no cookies of its own.
Adverts are a different matter — see below.
Duelinos uses Google AdSense to display adverts. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve adverts, which may be based on your previous visits to this or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve adverts to you based on your visit to this and/or other sites on the Internet.
You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can find more information in Google's advertising policy, and you can opt out of third-party vendors' use of cookies at aboutads.info.
If you're visiting from the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, you'll be shown a consent message before any advertising cookies are used, and you can decline. You can change your choice later using the privacy settings link in that message.
To be straight with you: even with no accounts, a website can't work without other companies seeing that a request was made. These are the ones involved, and why:
Duelinos uses no advertising analytics, no tracking pixels and no cross-site tracking. I don't sell data, because I don't have any to sell.
I'd like to know roughly how many people use Duelinos and how they found it, so the site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics. It was chosen specifically because it's the least intrusive option I could find:
The result is a count of page views and a list of referring sites — never a profile of you.
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct or erase personal data held about you, and to object to its processing. In practice Duelinos holds no personal data about you at all — there's no account to look up. If you have a question or a request, write to mycatsnameisrose@gmail.com. For data held by the third parties listed above, their own privacy policies and tools apply.
Duelinos isn't directed at children under 13, and no personal information is knowingly collected from anyone.
If the site changes in a way that affects this page, I'll update it and change the date at the top.
