About Duelinos

A small project by one person who missed the games you could play anywhere, with anyone.

The story

I always missed the classic games you could just play anywhere, with anyone — the ones scribbled in the margins of schoolbooks and played through every break and every long bus ride. Somewhere along the way they moved into apps full of accounts, downloads and adverts.

I'm not an IT guy. Luckily, thanks to AI, I finally got this little project off the ground. Duelinos is the result: a place where you and a friend can grab a quick game during a break.

How it works

You pick a game, choose how many rounds, and get a link. Send that link to a friend and they drop straight into your room. That's the whole thing — no signup, no app, no permissions. The link is your room.

Every game is played against a real person. There are no bots here, on purpose: the point is playing with someone, not with something.

What's here

Nine games for two players: Rock Paper Scissors, Rock Paper Scissors Lizard Spock, Odds & Evens, Tic-Tac-Toe, Gomoku, Dots & Boxes, Reversi, Bulls & Cows and Battleships. Each one takes a few minutes — about the length of a coffee break.

Keeping it free

Duelinos is free and I'd like to keep it that way, without burying the games in adverts. If it brought you a few minutes of fun, a coffee helps keep the project running happily — but it's entirely optional, and nothing here is locked behind it.

Say hello
